Tara, Office Manager
Tara joined our team in February 2015. She enjoys the daily office tasks, helping clients and patients with their needs and doing whatever is necessary to keep up with the clinic. Tara especially likes bonding with the cats in the clinic (she's a closet cat lover). Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and his family, reading, as well as spending time with their two dogs; Boots and Maybe.
McKenzie, Veterinary Assistant
McKenzie joined our team in February 2021 with previous experience. McKenzie recently graduated MSU in May 2023 with her Wildlife Biology degree. She shares her home with 2 dogs, 3 birds and a roommate. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her pets. To unwind she also likes to binge watch Netflix shows.
Cheyenne, Veterinary Assistant
Cheyenne joined our awesome team in November 2021. She is currently a Junior at MSU majoring in Animal Science with emphasis in Pre-Vet. She's in the right place to help her get started in the veterinary field. In her free time, she likes to travel, attend concerts, hang out with family and spend time with her family and pets. She currently shares her home with a couple of dogs and a herd of cats.
Kaylee, Veterinary Assistant
Kaylee lived in Nixa when she was a kid and moved back last summer. She has a bachelor's degree in criminology and psychology but wanted to follow her passion for animals. Kaylee is currently enrolled in Veterinary Technician school to become a licensed animal nurse. Kaylee shares her home with her dachshund, Link. In her free time, she enjoys reading, taking Link on walks, or hanging out with friends.
Hannah, Veterinary Assistant
Meet Hannah! She came to work with us in October 2023 and instantly became a valued team member. Hannah grew up on a farm in northern Missouri and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University. She recently moved to Springfield to get her Master’s at MSU. Hannah plans to get her PhD in Cattle Nutrition. She stays quite busy with school, studying and work but when she does have free time; she enjoys spending time with her Corgi, Stella and being outdoors.
Hayley, Reception
Meet Hayley! She became a member of our reception and veterinary assistant team in July 2023. Having recently established her roots in Nixa, Hayley is beyond ready to chase her dreams and pursue a career working with animals. Being raised on a farm, Hayley has always had a passion and connection to all creatures; however her favorite was growing up around horses. Hayley loves spending quality time with her husband, their amazing son, and their pets. She also enjoys swimming, jogging, writing, being with her friends, and doing farm chores.
Genesis, Reception
Genesis has been a member of our great receptionist team since August 2021. She was born and raised in this area and currently calls Nixa home. Genesis has an Australian shepherd named Sidka. When she's not working Gen likes to spend time with friends, family and of course Sidka.
Kimberly, Reception
Kimberly became a Gentle Care teammate in February 2024. She has nearly 20 years of veterinary experience and we feel lucky to have her. Kim's passion for vetmed comes from the satisfaction of helping clients and their pets. Kimberly and her family moved from Texas to Nixa 14 years ago. She's married to her high school sweetheart and they have 2 beautiful daughters as well as a few german shepherds, chihuahuas and 1 beagle. In her free time; Kimberly likes being outdoors, spending time with family, riding around in her Jeep when the weather permits and reading a good book.
