Jennifer joined GCAH in March 2013. She moved to the Springfield area from Kansas City where she worked at a busy small animal practice for 3 years. She enjoys keeping busy and making sure her patients get everything they need from preventive care to surgery recovery. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, their son and 2 dog, Joey & Cain.
Allison became a member of the Gentle Care team in April 2016. She is currently studying Animal Science as she adores all animals and has wanted to work in a veterinary clinic. When Allison is not at work she enjoys spending time with her dog Rowdy and her cat named Breezy. Allison is also active in fitness boxing.
Katlyn joined our team in February 2016. She lives in Nixa with her husband and 3 orange cats. Katlyn will be going back to school to earn her Veterinary Technician degree while continuing to work at Gentle Care. In her free time, Katlyn enjoys traveling, reading, checking out the inventory at thrift stores and spending time with family.
Dakota joined our team in July 2016 shortly after moving to the area from Virginia. We are so glad to have Dakota working with us; she was raised around many dogs, cats, chicken and horses. Dakota is a student at Ozarks Technical Community College and loves to spend her free time with family, friends, and her pup Mishka.
Ashton came to work for us in March 2016. She was no stranger to our clinic though; her family has been clients for many years and she has job shadowed at our clinic. Ashton is a student at Kickapoo High School and hopes to go into the medical field when she graduates. In her free time, she likes to hike and play with her sweet dog Annabelle.
Tara joined our team in February 2015. She enjoys the daily office tasks and helping out in the clinic where ever she can. Tara especially likes bonding with the cats in the clinic (she's a closet cat lover). Tara enjoys canoeing, kayaking and hiking with her husband, as well as spending time with their two dogs; Boots and Phoebe.
Bonny relocated to southwest Missouri and started at Gentle Care Animal Hospital in June 2005. She supervises the reception team and is frequently the first to catch the phone or greet you as you come in the door. Bonny enjoys working in a veterinary clinic and educating pet owners. When not busy at work, she has 10 grandchildren to keep her occupied!
Diane is a part-time receptionist who has been with Gentle Care since 2006. She has always had a passion for animals and working at the clinic fulfills that passion along with helping pay for her 8 cats. Outside of work Diane enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grand children at their cabin on the lake. Along with her work at Gentle Care, she is a licensed professional counselor specializing in pet bereavement counseling. She is also a counselor at Door to Hope and volunteers at the Dickerson Park Zoo.
Kelsey has always had a love for animals. She joins us part time at the Gentle Care front desk as she is also employed at the Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Springfield. She decided to get involved in veterinary medicine after having a tragic accident with her beloved Jack Russell named Alex. She is passionate about being able to help clients through tough situations like the one she had to overcome.
Elizabeth came to us in July 2015. She has always loved animals and frequents the shelter's; just to give some extra love to those dogs and cats. She is thrilled to work in a Veterinary clinic and we are glad to have her and her enthusiasm. When she's not at work she likes spending time with her four furry friends at home. She has 2 small dogs and 2 cats. Elizabeth also enjoys sewing, knitting her dogs scarves, making custom cat beds and making all kinds of super cute pet toys and accessories.
Emma became a member of our Reception team in February 2016. She moved to this area last fall from Indiana. She has always had a kind heart for animals and wanted to work in a Veterinary clinic since she was little. Emma has a kitten and a Manx cat at home. In her free time, she enjoys antiquing, walking the trails at the nature center and spending time with her fiancé and two cats.
Amanda became a valuable member of the Gentle Care team in June 2016. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Hendrix College. She and her husband welcomed a Bernese Mountain dog puppy to their home in 2017. Gus is as adorable as one might think. In her free time, she enjoys reading, coffee, knitting and training Gus to be a well behaved dog. He is a great pupil.
